If you have prayed and felt it brought no results, this should interest you.
Often, maybe most often, we pray because we feel depressed, distressed, oppressed, or have a need, but this is not the only time we should be praying.
Prayer is how we communicate with Almighty God, and most people know that it is important because they have either seen results first hand, or know from experience that others have.
But prayer should communicate our respect and our thanks to God, and our remorse for offending Him, not just our requests for help in crisis.
Regular communication with anyone builds a relationship, and frequent prayer builds a relationship with God.
If you go to work each day and rarely talk to your boss, you have no relationship with him when you want a raise or a day off. How does he feel about you , when he doesn’t ‘know’ you.
You know that the people you communicate with regularly, are usually those most willing to help you.
Choose a time— driving to work—– before going to sleep—-and make it a practice for regular prayer.
During the day, think occasionally of Almighty God.
Remember what God has done in the past. Be Thankful. Be Respectful. Be Humble.
“ When you think of God, He Smiles ! “ And when He smiles, he is likely to Bless You
