As the name implies, this blog is about

effectively reading   1book ,  the Holy Bible.

Over the years, I have read the entire Bible numerous times, and I have promoted reading the Holy Bible more effectively. Therefore, it is this 1 Book that is the focus of our attention.

As we have encouraged others to “read the Bible” , we have used and reviewed many “daily reading programs”. While reading, we often took notes.

In 1998 , we were moved to once again read the entire Bible, but this time, we did not use a daily program, but rather read the Bible’s contents as we were felt to be led, and as usual , kept notes. Eventually, we finished reading the entire Holy Bible again, but with a much better understanding.

When we reviewed the order of our notes, we could see the pattern of the order that we had been led to follow, but since we did not determine any of this order in advance, we accept no credit for it’s organization.

The reading order clearly results in the most effective understanding of the Word of Almighty God , according to many that have followed it.

Printed in a “Daily Reading” format, when followed, the reader will complete reading the Holy Bible in one year.

However, experience has shown than most readers begin these daily programs with enthusiasm , but do not continue after a few weeks, and very few read daily for a year.
Mostly, this is a result of busy schedules of work and family, and once a few days of reading are missed, the commitment to read becomes a failure to the reader., much like an unfulfilled New Years Resolution.

Our approach has been to encourage readers to set a goal to “read the entire Bible” …

and we suggest reading as much as possible, as often as possible , while keeping track of progress on the formatted program. Since a “daily” reading commitment is not suggested, there never is a sense of failure for missing a day or more,   and many actually complete the reading in less than a year.

We hope that this site becomes a motivator for you to experience a better understanding of Almighty God, by a more effective reading of just 1Book, the Holy Bible
